*~Meow Cosmetics~*

This is my first purchase from Meow Cosmetics and I have to say I'm very impressed. It came swiftly and presentation was very nice, complete with a leopard draw-string bag, really goes with the brand concept.
I know Phyrra has recommended these mineral foundations and I thought I'd give it a go. It's very hard for me to get a foundation as I don't like the feeling of regular foundations, yet alone to find a light enough shade. I've only found one match so far and that's Everyday Minerals in Fair Neutral, so I went for the shade that looked closer to this. I chose Siamese 0-Inquisitive in the Pampered Puss formula, which is for those that want to achieve a medium layerable coverage and have extra-sensitive skin.
They do two sizes 8g which is called 'Munchkin' and the regular full-sized jar which is 30g, yes 30g! The 30g is $26.95 USD which is around £17 in GBP. I really think this is worth every penny and I wish all companies would offer this size.
When I received my foundation, I must admit it did look a lot darker than my other foundation and got a little worried, but as soon as it was on my skin it appeared lighter and a perfect match. The consistency is lovely smooth and blendable and the finish is just as described. You will be seeing me buy this again and I think I much prefer this formula over EDM semi-matte.

Swatched pampered puss heavily as it didn't show up 'perfect match' :)

Meow Cosmetics also threw in two shadow samples which I was not expecting.
These are each extremely pigmented and easy to blend.

IdealEyes in Brazen- Which a pearly soft caramel honey colour
Feliner in Thunder- One of blackest black shadows I've come across, feliners are made to work to be both eyeshadow and eyeliner.

I couldn't Live Without......

Or say farewell to these products!

Everyday Minerals Foundation (Semi-Matte Base)
Before this i never used to wear foundation.
Why? I never liked the feeling of it, or couldn't find a exact match anywhere.
When i came across this 'mineral' site i was stunned. So many shades available, and so many pale shades to choose from too. I've never looked back since.
As you know mineral makeup doesn't feel like your actually wearing makeup, easily blended. Quick and easy for a hectic life. Check out their kabuki brushes too they are incredibly soft and never lose their softness, no matter how many times you wash them.

Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil in Hazel
This won't budge! It's perfect for giving my brows extra oomph everyday. I haven't come across another brand that has the same hue and formula as this.

Revlon ColorStay Liquid Liner in Blackest Black
So I never got into the whole 'Potted gel liner' thing. I can't get into the texture or the fact that isn't as convenient to use. Anyhow this little fellow has been with me for a long time now, being the luxurious 'Blackest Black' and it's not going anywhere. It doesn't seem to have the horrible flaking that some liquid liners have. This has the felt tip at the end, I really can't get on with brushes as much.

L'Oreal Touche Magique (Anti-Fatigue Illuminating Concealer)
Like the cheaper version of YSL Touche Eclat, which I've never wanted, hence the price tag, I've heard bad things about it like 'black mould appearing on the brush suddenly'
Anyway i love L'Oreal's version!
I am a night owl with a 4 year old son, so this helps to hide the tiredness!

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
Last but not least....
This is a worldwide favourite, and boy would I be scared to wear eyeshadow without this stuff!
It does everything it claims and more! I promise I'll never stray!

Everyday Minerals Blush in Pink Ribbon

Pink Ribbon blush comes under the 'Shimmer' finish under 'Cheeks' Everyday Minerals describe this as a ' soft lavender-pink with a pretty shimmer finish' which I don't think is a 'lavender' more of a neutral fairy light pink with a little peach. The shimmer is not a lot at all, when you apply this it's just the right touch of shimmer that looks sheeny and fairy like. It's so soft and airy light!
If you're pale like me this makes a wonderful blush, that will go with anything, or even if you're really tanned it would be amazing as a highlighter to perk up any other blushes. Even so you can still build up the colour on this. I absolutely love this, I forgot about this for a while and remembered how much I liked it!

Vampiress Beauty Randomness 3

I've yet to come across an Everyday Minerals product I hated. This is a shadow which is in their shimmer finish named Well Being, they describe this as a dark, deep purple grey with flecks of dark sparkle. I would say they're pretty accurate, it kind of reminds me of MAC's Beauty Marked that's more lighter with added aubergine. The shimmer itself looks really glittery in the pot but in fact is more a reflective iridescence, it isn't gritty the slightest just silky, a really lovely texture. I always find myself reaching this, for deep smoky purple eyes.

Mmm this is a gorgeous gloss, I cannot stop sniffing it and applying it. This is Barry M Lip Gloss in Bubblegum, which fits the shade and well....smells like it! Yes so it's very one of those bubblegum pinks that's milky with the cool pink hotness. The texture can go how you like it, thin or thick but you will not get gloopy stickiness. It's very pigmented indeed and the packaging is very sturdy and shiny, feels more on the expensive side. The longevity of this gloss is average, but it's fun to apply it anyway and will boost your lipstick.

Yay! These are just a few products that I've used up and ready to be thrown out.
1. Parfums Love Body Fragrance in You & Me- Smells like delicious fruity berries, will get again if I come across it.

2. Maybelline Lash Stiletto Mascara- I love this, and will repurchase, of course when I finished some of my unopened mascaras. :) It gives you the blackest black lashes that are long fluffy but slightly patent.

3. Bourjois Liner Effect Mascara- Wasn't too keen on this, as it gets too clumpy and I'm gathering this is why it gives you a 'liner' effect.

4. L'Oreal Super Liner Carbon Gloss- You can see the gloss on this, but the colour gets a little watery and appears more grey than black.

Living Dead Grrl - Makeup To Die For

This is really exciting! Living Dead Grrl is a very newly launched UK Indie mineral makeup brand.
If you have remember reading beauty blog 'Robert Smith's Mistress' this is made/owned by her Lyndsay! She stopped blogging for a while but she's back with Living Dead Grrl and a new blog.
I got sent a load of samples and two full sizes to review, yay :)

First thought is that I really love the name and the motto being 'Makeup To Die For' The logo is pretty good too with a living dead hand emerging from a grave. A thing that stood out for me is that I love the fact that she listed on every colour whether it's lip safe and vegan. Which I've never seen before on any other company, this saves time by looking up every shade online or contacting the seller.

I've noticed that every shade has this silky soft texture which is lovely especially that a lot of them are shimmer and iridescent, but obviously there are some colours that are more pigmented than others. The majority are very descent on pigmentation and very impressed to say the least. Full-Sizes are only £3.50 a pop, which is really nicely budget-friendly in my opinion quality of the products are NOT sacrificed.

All my swatches are without any base or primer.

The Cure Disintegration Collection- Inspired by the band The Cure and one of their albums. The funny thing is that's it's my boyfriends favourite band in the world and he idolizes Robert Smith.
Makeup and The Cure come together muahaha.

L2R- Prayers For Rain, The Same Deep Water As You, Lullaby, Fascination Street.

Prayers For Rain (Deep Blackened Blue) - This reminds me much like discontinued Urban Decay's Envy which is a gorgeous metallic marine blue.
The Same Deep Water As You (Deep Blackened Green)- A swamp green full of iridescence.
Lullaby (Pale Grey With Multi Colour Pastel Glitter)- Sparkling silver shade
Fascination Street (Pale Purple With Slight Green Highlight And Sparkles)- Silvery purple and you can see the green reflecting.

Mrs X (Deep Red/Plum Shade With Some Red Sparkles)- Warm toned metal red
Being Electrocuted (Clear Bright Blue With Silver Glitter)- Very bright twinkling blue
That's A Fact (Bright Yellow Toned Green With Orange Sparkles)- Sparkling lemon & lime had a baby. I love this chartreuse yellow colour.
Woooman (Neon Peach With Pink Highlight)- This colour seriously reminds me of orange sherbet :)

The Roller Derby Collection

L2R- Derby Wife, Lead Jammer, Passing The Star, Whip It.

Derby Wife (Bright Cool Toned Pink With Purple Highlights And Pink/Purple Glitter)- This one will probably need a cream base to get the best from it's reflecting duo chrome colour.
Lead Jammer (Dark Smoky Gunmetal Grey With A Ton Of Multicoloured Sparkles)- Sparked up brown toned grey.
Passing The Star (Bright White With Silver & Gold Sparkles)- Perfect iridescent highlighting shade.
Whip It (Mid Toned Green With Gold Highlight And Gold/Green Sparkles)- Sparkling Irish Shamrock colour
