Vampiress Beauty Randomness 19

NYX Jumbo Pencil in French Fries- A Bronzed Antique Gold this is my third NYX pencil in my collection and I can see myself using this as a liner too. NYX jumbo pencils are always so creamy, pigmented and opaque.
I've got the basic two wonderful shades which are Black Bean and Milk, which work superbly at bringing out the best of a shadow, especially glitters and shimmers as they seem to adhere to it. So I sometime use these over my Urban Decay Primer Potion then I apply this as a base and start working the shadow. An extra step but you do see results.

Revlon Pure Confection Highlighting Face Powder- Found at a pound shop, yes really. I think I love highlighters more than blush, seriously! I don't think I remember ever seeing this product at a counter. So maybe it was a 'Limited Edition' for a very short time?
Anyhow it's amazingly pigmented and applies beautifully. It has no chunky glitters just pure highlighting glow. This is perfect for paler skintones as it is quite more white based than the majority, although I can imagine it looking lush on other skintones too.

Maybelline Foreverstrong Nail Color in 101 Timeless Taupe- A pearly mauve toned taupe.
For some reason I tend to reach for older polishes much more than my newer ones. I absolutely love the older Maybelline packaged nail polishes so much more than their newer ones. They just seem to glide on better, leave a better finish and last longer, actually all around better. So I always keep an eye out for the oldies, *hints Ebay*

Flower By Kenzo- One of my many Xmas presents from my Mum and I really wanted this fragrance. The scent I'd describe is like walking into a sugary sweet flower garden. It lingers on and lasts all day and such a beautiful feminine fragrance.

Mermaid's Treasure EOTD

Who doesn't like Dazzle Dusts?

34 Cherry- Not a cherry colour at all! A deep purple with ruby pink shimmers.

39 Tan- Metallic peachy beige

24 Old Gold- Yes it is a Old Gold. Whoever hates yellow toned golds, this is for you!

The Body Shop Lipstick 41 Tea Rose & NOTD

While this is not on The Body Shop website, I can't help but think this may be unavailable, which I hope is not the case!
This shade is absolutely gorgeous, it really reminds me of the standard coloured lips of a porcelain doll, which I think is truly enchanting.
I'd describe this as a light shimmery golden peach with coral undertones.

This looks fabulous with a green eye look.
The lipstick itself is medium pigmented, has a soft vanilla scent, lasts extremely well, moisturising but not overly like it will slip off somewhere.

NOTD- Make-up Academy in Antique Bronze, which I think is excellent quality and considering I only paid 99p for it in Savers stores.
I do like gold toned makeup shades but noway will I wear yellow golds, as well they look like an infection or stain on me. I prefer bronzes, coppers and old gold colours.
The bottle is very chunky so it was hard for me to take a picture of me holding it, so please bare with the awkward angle of the picture. You get 12ml within this bottle.

Barry M Get The Look Gift Sets

So I got these at Superdrug at half price, they're usually £9.95 each and are up on the Barry M site. So do still look out for these when you go to Superdrug. They each contain two limited edition Dazzle Dusts and are full sized! :)

Pink- Two Dazzle Dusts, a Fine Glitter Dust and a nice quality brush.

Candy Floss - Dead on name and extremely pigmented. A Candy Floss pink with gorgeous shimmered glow to it.

Berry Pink- A beautiful deep pigmented raspberry.

Violet Star- Which is the 'Fine Glitter Dust' and a violet, there isn't a lot of pigment in this but has the finest glitter within.

Green- Two Dazzle Dust and a Glitter Liquid Liner

Storm Cloud- Very pigmented deep navy metallic blue with lighter blue iridescence.

Green Apple- A sour green but doesn't seem to be as pigmented as others, I reckon it just needs a heavier application, which I didn't do in the swatches.

Glitter Liquid Liner in 07 Gold- More like a green gold and I didn't know Barry M's glitters were this nice!

Ultimate Collection Shimmer Blush

As soon as I saw this in Wilkinsons at the Holiday gift section, I thought straight away MAC MSF dupe! Yes ok, so it's those unbranded gift sets that usually are pointless, but this was just saying 'get me!' and I'm glad I did. I actually do think some of those cheaper gift sets have started improving recently.
First off it's very glittery and shimmery and very hard to capture on camera and of course this is a overlay but underneath is a very indeed lovely product of shimmer and glow and no naughty matte.
It's also surprisingly pigmented for these type of things and is a very rosy medium pink that warms up with added gold veining.
The packaging is in fact solid and very heavy it's 18g is a little big. :) You also get a brush that is of course one those useless flat brushes, but a very cute touch to the set.
So at £2.99 this is my bargain buy of the week.

Random Shadow Swatches

1st up is Elite Glam Eye Shadow in No6 Azur. Elite is a fairly newish brand, which you can purchase from larger Superdrug stores. This shadow is a baby blue sheerish shadow.
However it is very smooth and blendable.

2nd is Elite Starlight Eyeshadow in 04 Lolite. I'm pretty sure these are Limited Edition?
Beauiful medium lavender which is packed with pigment, with smooth glitz. The texture is crumbly & soft, rather like Stila eye shadows.

3rd is The Balm Shady Lady Shadow in Curvy Cami. I purchased this at ASOS during the sale.
Silky soft with generous pigment, this is a plum burgundy shade with gold iridescence.

Last but not least Too Faced Eye Shadow in London Calling. This shade really reminds me of a cross between Urban Decay's Maui Wowie and Midnight Cowboy Rides Again. This is fairly pigmented with smooth chunks of glitter, not for the faint hearted.
