Claire's ReVamped Palette

As you can probably see the reason why I purchased this!

This palette costs just £7.00 at Claire's and has the cutest packaging, there's other version to choose from too.

It comes with 3 shadows, a highlighter, mascara and lipgloss, and I especially love the names of the shadows. There is also a mirror and a instruction booklet for an eye look tutorial.

The highlighter 'Glampire' is nicely pigmented and I can definitely see myself reaching for it.
The three shadows which are 'Horror Movie, Love Bites and Nocturnal' are not as pigmented but are smooth and aren't that bad.

The mascara doesn't seem to have any odour at all but I myself don't really fancy using it, which you can see why in my pictures when you scroll down, on the other hand I do like the lipgloss as it gives a nice natural cool cherry tone with a pinch of glitter and isn't sticky, but the smell is like kiddie medicine which I find with most Claire's glosses, fortunately that wears off and there isn't no taste.

Max Factor Lash Extension Effect Mascara

I noticed today that I haven't done any mascara reviews, so I decided to review my latest which is 'Max Factor Lash Extension Effect Extreme Lengthening Mascara'

Now I usually go for volume but decided to try a lengthening.
Lash Extension Effect cost around £10.99 which is on the expensive side for a drug store brand, but I did purchase this when it was on promotional offer.

Now if you want naturally long wispy lashes then this is for you.

To me it doesn't seem to be a very black mascara which I do not like, if it would of had more pigment I would adore it. On the other hand it really does lift the lashes very well. (I never use lash curlers, I have no time for them)

It has a faint, the usual mascara type smell, yes I've had those chemically enriched paint smelling mascaras.



The applicator is quite slim with little combs and has a hard plastic feel.

As you can see, my lashes are really dull and a medium browny blonde. They seem to lighter at the tips weird enough so you can't really see my true length.

After
This is round about 6 coats, I always apply a looadd of mascara till well... it starts to clump.

Maybelline- The Falsies Volum' Express Mascara

 Yeni rimelimi deneme bahanesiyle yaptığım makyaj olur kendisi. Daha önce kıvrık fırçalı rimel kullanmamıştım. O sebeple çok başarılı bir uygulama olmadı sanırım. Ama siyahın yoğunluğunu, kıvrıklık vermesini sevdim. Elim alıştığı takdirde daha başarılı sonuçlar çıkacaktır. Olmayan kirpiklerimi yapıştırmadığı gibi hafif bir uzunluk da verdi sanırım belki de kıvrıklığın verdiği bir görüntüdür bu. Kısacası hoşuma gitti bu cici. Henüz denemediyseniz bir göz atın derim.

Ted Baker Beauty Master'Ize Kit Three

Ted Baker stocks luxury body products for men & women at Boots but now a few cosmetic kits, which are available online and a larger Boots. I was a little hesitant to try this as I bought it online and never saw it person.
I am actually pretty impressed with it.
This set comes with a mini mascara, mini eye pencil, brow groomer and 4 four shadows with a sponge and brush dual applicator.
The shadows are surprisingly pigmented and very soft and the shades come out exactly how you see them in the pans, the quality didn't apply the same to the mascara and eyeliner as they are a pretty basic quality.
The liner is a nice shade of a matte cool lilac brown which is quite soft but not the best of formulas.
I am disappointed that the mascara is brown, as that shade of mascara is way too neutral for me.

I do think this palette is worth it for just the shadows themselves and of course the nicely designed packaging it has a plastic flip over to keep your shadows fresh, ribbon embedded to hook out your tools at ease and a Too Faced inspired mirror, don't you think? :)

Dark Green Smoke EOTD

A little bit basic today, but it goes so well with dark red lips.
Shadows used- Bloom Eskimo, Sleek Nightlife, No7 LE Shimmer Kohl Palette (Dark green shade).
Also I tried out a sample of Clinique Lash Power mascara and I'm not keen on it at all, it's clumpy rock hard and a bugger to get off.

Vampiress Beauty Randomness 3

I've yet to come across an Everyday Minerals product I hated.This is a shadow which is in their shimmer finish named Well Being, they describe this as a dark, deep purple grey with flecks of dark sparkle. I would say they're pretty accurate, it kind of reminds me of MAC's Beauty Marked that's more lighter with added aubergine. The shimmer itself looks really glittery in the pot but in fact is more a reflective iridescence, it isn't gritty the slightest just silky, a really lovely texture. I always find myself reaching this, for deep smoky purple eyes.


Mmm this is a gorgeous gloss, I cannot stop sniffing it and applying it. This is Barry M Lip Gloss in Bubblegum, which fits the shade and well....smells like it! Yes so it's very one of those bubblegum pinks that's milky with the cool pink hotness. The texture can go how you like it, thin or thick but you will not get gloopy stickiness. It's very pigmented indeed and the packaging is very sturdy and shiny, feels more on the expensive side. The longevity of this gloss is average, but it's fun to apply it anyway and will boost your lipstick.


Yay! These are just a few products that I've used up and ready to be thrown out.
1. Parfums Love Body Fragrance in You & Me- Smells like delicious fruity berries, will get again if I come across it.

2. Maybelline Lash Stiletto Mascara- I love this, and will repurchase, of course when I finished some of my unopened mascaras. :) It gives you the blackest black lashes that are long fluffy but slightly patent.

3. Bourjois Liner Effect Mascara- Wasn't too keen on this, as it gets too clumpy and I'm gathering this is why it gives you a 'liner' effect.

4. L'Oreal Super Liner Carbon Gloss- You can see the gloss on this, but the colour gets a little watery and appears more grey than black.
