Claire's ReVamped Palette

As you can probably see the reason why I purchased this!

This palette costs just £7.00 at Claire's and has the cutest packaging, there's other version to choose from too.

It comes with 3 shadows, a highlighter, mascara and lipgloss, and I especially love the names of the shadows. There is also a mirror and a instruction booklet for an eye look tutorial.

The highlighter 'Glampire' is nicely pigmented and I can definitely see myself reaching for it.
The three shadows which are 'Horror Movie, Love Bites and Nocturnal' are not as pigmented but are smooth and aren't that bad.

The mascara doesn't seem to have any odour at all but I myself don't really fancy using it, which you can see why in my pictures when you scroll down, on the other hand I do like the lipgloss as it gives a nice natural cool cherry tone with a pinch of glitter and isn't sticky, but the smell is like kiddie medicine which I find with most Claire's glosses, fortunately that wears off and there isn't no taste.

Wild And Crazy

Wild And Crazy is a drugstore type brand, that has quite a large colour selection. I'm gathering it's more available in the US as seen on Cherry Culture, I haven't seen these in the UK shops only online which you can get here & here.
I actually have quite mixed feelings on this brand, but for certain I love the nail polish I recently posted about, which you can see here.

Mad Raven Eyeshadow- For starters this is not what I imagined a shade named 'Mad Raven' to be like. It's quite sheer and is not the blackest black shadow. I'd most certainly use it as a grey shadow.

Prom Eyeshadow- This is actually quite pretty it's a peached coral, that is more pigmented then Mad Raven! It appears to have a slight spark to it.

Lavender Super Lasting Eyeliner- I cannot possibly understand why this liquid liner calls itself Lavender? It's actually a white! I'm really not sure what to do with it. The application is very streaky, patchy and watery.

Ultra Shine Lipgloss Drama Queen- I'm really liking this, as soon as I opened it, I smelt choccy!
It's a nice thick formula that isn't overly sticky. This is a purple gloss and it is a bit darker then in my following pics.

So really this brand is a hit & miss!
Anyone that's tried this brand? Let me know what you think. :)

Black Single Eyeshadows

I thought I should dedicate this post to my black single shadows, as I constantly have to have a pinch of black eyeshadow in basically all of my eye looks. I love a dramatic eye!

Sleek Maximum Impact Eyeshadow in 964 Nightlife- Beautiful intense sparkly black. Such a shame they discontinued their single pressed shadows. I'm not sure this one is going to last much longer as you can see with nakey pan really showing through.

Cover Girl Eyehancer in 440 Shimmering Onyx- Cover Girl is sadly not available in the UK.
It came free when I purchased my Lash Blast via Ebay. It's pretty much like Sleek's but a little less pigmented.

Bourjois Ombre Stretch in 13 Black Glitter- Not the blackest black but absolutely a gorgeous soft non gritty sparkling black, looks wet but it isn't.

Bourjois Eyeshadow in 92 Gris Pailette- Just gross, no pigment just gritty uneven glitter.

Clinique Colour Surge Eyeshadow in 117 Black Velvet- Plain not a descent black, a satin finish.

MAC Eyeshadow in Black Tied- Oh my goodness.....did I get a bad one? Purchased from MAC.
Kind of gritty and not at all that pigmented and the sparkles don't really show up.

*~Meow Cosmetics~*

This is my first purchase from Meow Cosmetics and I have to say I'm very impressed. It came swiftly and presentation was very nice, complete with a leopard draw-string bag, really goes with the brand concept.
I know Phyrra has recommended these mineral foundations and I thought I'd give it a go. It's very hard for me to get a foundation as I don't like the feeling of regular foundations, yet alone to find a light enough shade. I've only found one match so far and that's Everyday Minerals in Fair Neutral, so I went for the shade that looked closer to this. I chose Siamese 0-Inquisitive in the Pampered Puss formula, which is for those that want to achieve a medium layerable coverage and have extra-sensitive skin.
They do two sizes 8g which is called 'Munchkin' and the regular full-sized jar which is 30g, yes 30g! The 30g is $26.95 USD which is around £17 in GBP. I really think this is worth every penny and I wish all companies would offer this size.
When I received my foundation, I must admit it did look a lot darker than my other foundation and got a little worried, but as soon as it was on my skin it appeared lighter and a perfect match. The consistency is lovely smooth and blendable and the finish is just as described. You will be seeing me buy this again and I think I much prefer this formula over EDM semi-matte.

Swatched pampered puss heavily as it didn't show up 'perfect match' :)

Meow Cosmetics also threw in two shadow samples which I was not expecting.
These are each extremely pigmented and easy to blend.

IdealEyes in Brazen- Which a pearly soft caramel honey colour
Feliner in Thunder- One of blackest black shadows I've come across, feliners are made to work to be both eyeshadow and eyeliner.
