George Velvet Eyeshadows

Most of us are aware that George has clothing for Asda the Brit version of Walmart. They also have a makeup line in selected stores. Their nail polish are probably raved about most but I think their shadows need a look in too.
These shadows are super super pigmented, you barely have to touch them to get strong swipe of shadow. They are very extremely soft too. My only complaint of these are that they're quite crumbly when you put the brush to the pan, which I know some you don't like, to be honest I'm not bothered about it, as I can just blow or tap off the excess.
I did unfortunately drop one of them which was a dead ringer of MAC's Black Tied and it completely shattered to bits, so the shadow itself is very fragile so do take care.
I would like some more of them in my collection due to a lovely colour selection, insane pigment and very inexpensive. The packaging on these are pink but I've noticed they're starting to change these to black, they have a button on cases that opens them up so no broken nails to open them.

No.13 Punk Rocker- Icey medium pink

No.7 Candy - Pearly White Lavender

No.16 Aquatic- Out there shimmery aquamarine

No.11 Glow- Glowed out burnt soft tan

 ~Products Used~

Base- Urban Decay Primer Potion
Mascara- Rimmel Lash Accelerator
Eyeliner- Revlon Liquid Liner
Eyeshadow- Too Faced Glamazon, Stargazer Deep Red, Sleek Nightlife, MAC White Frost.

Vampiress Beauty Randomness 7

BeautyUK Eyeshadow Collection which is the 5th palette and I thought I had them all but obviously didn't, they only seem to sell the all blue toned number '5' in larger Superdrug stores.
You can check my review for them here.

Christmas Pudding lip balm- A cute novelty Item, I received at Xmas!
Doesn't really smell like Xmas Pud more like chocolate. Comes out clear and way too sticky but cute nevertheless. Sold at NPW for £2.95.

Victoria Jackson pieces I got for Christmas from my BF.
Has a lot of mixed reviews but I think it's a really lovely quality and the shadows are silky and very pigmented.

Shine 'N Go Lipgloss Trio- In a leather style pouch and all have a minty scent and cooling feel.
Slight tackiness but supposedly for more longevity. Two have sponge applicators but the lightest shade has a brush.

Harmony Eye Shadow Compact- In neutral shades with a nice faint shimmer, these are surprisingly very pigmented and the colour in the pan is the exact colour on your skin.

Color Collection Peach- A nice classic palette which is really lovely quality. All the compacts have the same feel as NARS with a mirror inside.

Last but not least is a rare MAC lipstick I love and rediscovered again is Vibrant 'O'
A beautiful bright intense Orange Peach shade in a 'Frost' finish. This from the C-Squeeze collection.

Sorry for the small image, just my lips are embarrassingly flaketastic at the moment. :(

Rimmel Nearly Nude Lasting Finish Lipstick, Pound Shop Score!

Yes, I picked this up in Poundland for well, a £1.00! In the updated packaging, though I can only seem to find this 'Nearly Nude' shade at the moment. It's a really beautiful shade, which is I would describe as a creamy toffee beige with shimmers, but isn't overly frosty.
As you know with all Rimmel Lasting Finish lipsticks, they have a slight candy scent, but I can't detect any gross flavour though. :)
Anyhow, this looks very flattering on pale skin, I think it would fabulous on tanned skin too.

Most of the branded make-up they have are sealed in a plastic packet with card. So you know they won't be contaminated.
So Poundland can be cramped with lots of crowds, you're bound to find something, for your moneys worth, they normally always have a few 'Branded' beauty products, also things like candles, stationary, and stickers.

ELF Shimmer Eyeliner Pencil

I had a mad moment and decided to purchase all of the shades of ELF Shimmer Eyeliner Pencils. I suppose at £1.50 each and an extra 20% off with a promotional code it isn't that mad?

All of these pencils come carded and as you can see the pencil lid is in fact a sharpener. The names of the shades are on the card but not on the actual  pencils which stinks.  For some reason they came a lot shorter than expected and with the £1.50 price tag, they really feel cheap and flimsy.

What I think is really misleading is when they call it 'Shimmer' but to me these look like a pearl finish. I don't see any sparkle just pearl. The main thing is that the product itself is pigmented and has a beautiful texture, soft and glides like butter. I find that 'Black Bandit' seems the hardest to get off with a makeup wipe. These are all nicely long lasting. My favourite out of all these has to be 'Iconic Ivory' as I wanted a pearly white liner and 'Gunmetal' as it seems to flash a gorgeous green colour. Almost reminds me of MAC's eyeshadow in Club.

I'd love ELF to do some more shades in this range, like maybe a deep red and some blues.

L2R- Plum Passion, Boldy Bronzed, Grassy Green, Gunmetal, Iconic Ivory, Precious Pink, Blissful Blush, Black Bandit, Twinkle Teal.

Next Cashmere Eye Palette

So while I was browsing in Next, I stumbled across some Makeup, of course most of these are the holiday gifts. As far as I know there are two versions of this 10 colour eyeshadow palette. I decided to go for the lighter one this time, as my collection has more darks of course. :)

The packaging is nice to look at, complete with a mirror and a bunch of applicators, the shades go from nudes to pretty autumn shades and seriously these shadows aren't bad at all!

Texture wise they're brilliant, very soft and super blendable, with pigment that is also surprisingly descent, although the paler shades were pretty much hard to swatch obviously being my pale skin to blame and a few being a satin finish.

Anyhow my only complaint is that....once opened you have to use them up in 6 months, according to the the back of palette. Seriously I'd never finish a shadow palette in 6 months! Powdered cosmetics are usually the last things to go bad.

I'd say for £5.00 they're worth it, but the 6 months thing aggravates me. Well I shall see if they go bad 6 months later!

MAC Lipstick in Brave

I don't see too many reviews on this lipstick. Which is a shame as I think this is a universally, go with anything, flattering shade. It's one of those classical nudes, not the concealer/mannequin type nude, it's has obvious rich deep pink tones too it on a beige base and there is a definite pinch of pearl to it, to give it a subtle sheen.

MAC describes this as a 'A muted pink-beige with a very subtle white pearl overtone' it's also a satin finish and my first satin from MAC. It applies creamier than I was expecting, but If you do suffer from badly dry lips and of course it coming up to winter, I suggest wearing a light lip balm as it's not overly moisturising. What I do love about this lipstick is that the fact it's very opaque and lasts on my lips for over two hours and that's saying something. This rosy beige colour is just a perfect warm me up nude for winter.

Lipsticks are priced at £12.50. I seriously swear they were £11.50 at one point or am I going mad?

*~EOTD & LOTD~*

I quite like the fact that the black in the crease blends to a deep purple, but please do ignore the flick of mascara on the eyeliner..I took this off after taking the photo. :P

Shadows used- Elite Azur, Sleek Nightlife, BarryM 59 Sapphire, Bloom Eskimo and GOSH Velvet liner in Ocean Mist.

LOTD- Rimmel lipstick in Paradise. Nice nudey pink beige, though the colour is a little darker in real life. :)
