Eyeko 5In1 Eyeshadow Cakes & NOTD

Eyeko shadow cakes, I checked out the site and at the moment they're only selling one on there which is the 'Pretty Eyes'.
I currently have 'Cool Eyes' and 'Pretty Eyes' which are £5.00 each.
Ok, so they look stunning in the palette they look so shimmery and some are glitzy, but overall I'm pretty much disappointed because they're not very pigmented at all. The good thing, well they're very blendable and they would be a nice kick to complement other shadows. Sorry Eyeko but you do get what you pay for on these ones.

Cool Eyes- Frosty white, Grey With White Shimmers, Metallic Deep Blue, Darker Grey With Blue
Particles, Pearly Purple

Pretty Eyes- Creamy Gold, Frosty White, Lilac, Deep Pink, Shimmery Peach

Last but not least Miss Sporty Clubbing Colours Twinkle Shine in 1? They have the shades listed on the shelves but not on the products. This is one of those gorgeous pale lavender colours but with twinkly sparkles. :) Miss Sporty is available from both Superdrug and Boots.

Vampiress Beauty Randomness 19

NYX Jumbo Pencil in French Fries- A Bronzed Antique Gold this is my third NYX pencil in my collection and I can see myself using this as a liner too. NYX jumbo pencils are always so creamy, pigmented and opaque.
I've got the basic two wonderful shades which are Black Bean and Milk, which work superbly at bringing out the best of a shadow, especially glitters and shimmers as they seem to adhere to it. So I sometime use these over my Urban Decay Primer Potion then I apply this as a base and start working the shadow. An extra step but you do see results.

Revlon Pure Confection Highlighting Face Powder- Found at a pound shop, yes really. I think I love highlighters more than blush, seriously! I don't think I remember ever seeing this product at a counter. So maybe it was a 'Limited Edition' for a very short time?
Anyhow it's amazingly pigmented and applies beautifully. It has no chunky glitters just pure highlighting glow. This is perfect for paler skintones as it is quite more white based than the majority, although I can imagine it looking lush on other skintones too.

Maybelline Foreverstrong Nail Color in 101 Timeless Taupe- A pearly mauve toned taupe.
For some reason I tend to reach for older polishes much more than my newer ones. I absolutely love the older Maybelline packaged nail polishes so much more than their newer ones. They just seem to glide on better, leave a better finish and last longer, actually all around better. So I always keep an eye out for the oldies, *hints Ebay*

Flower By Kenzo- One of my many Xmas presents from my Mum and I really wanted this fragrance. The scent I'd describe is like walking into a sugary sweet flower garden. It lingers on and lasts all day and such a beautiful feminine fragrance.

Marks & Spencer Budget Makeup Range

M&S have had this budget range out for a while, but I never seemed interested. Maybe it's the cheaply looking packaging?
Anyway I was swatching some of their own higher makeup brands like 'Per Una' and 'Autograph' and they all seemed so blah to me. So then I decided I'll pick a few of the £2.50 range just out of curiosity.
I picked out two of the lipsticks and I think you get what you pay for or maybe less!
They look cheap, feel cheap and apply cheap. To be honest I think I remember having kiddie lipsticks that performed much better than these.
The good? Well they do have names!

Pink Sorbet- Really icy pale pink and sheer.

Bright Tangerine- Bright deepened orange colour which is glossy but patchy and very sheer. Both of these had to have three coats

Sorry M&S you may have quality in most things but you certainly skipped it in these lipsticks. They may be £2.50 each but I've had lipsticks for a £1 that work ten times better.

Now the nail polishes are very different indeed, basic packaging but a very good product.

Baby Blue- Baby blue it is. Now you do have to give it two coats which need to be applied quite thickly but the outcome is perfect. Does dry quickly and is fairly glossy before putting on my topcoat.

Used with Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.

The Body Shop Lipstick 41 Tea Rose & NOTD

While this is not on The Body Shop website, I can't help but think this may be unavailable, which I hope is not the case!
This shade is absolutely gorgeous, it really reminds me of the standard coloured lips of a porcelain doll, which I think is truly enchanting.
I'd describe this as a light shimmery golden peach with coral undertones.

This looks fabulous with a green eye look.
The lipstick itself is medium pigmented, has a soft vanilla scent, lasts extremely well, moisturising but not overly like it will slip off somewhere.

NOTD- Make-up Academy in Antique Bronze, which I think is excellent quality and considering I only paid 99p for it in Savers stores.
I do like gold toned makeup shades but noway will I wear yellow golds, as well they look like an infection or stain on me. I prefer bronzes, coppers and old gold colours.
The bottle is very chunky so it was hard for me to take a picture of me holding it, so please bare with the awkward angle of the picture. You get 12ml within this bottle.

Blue Truffle EOTD & A Big Ole Ouch!

Shadows Used- FrontCover Rainbow Eyes Palette (Blanc De Blanc, Chocolate Truffle, French Blue), Cover Girl Shimmering Onyx.

The ouch thing? Well It all happened when I was opening a new cutlery set, half my thumb nail completely tore off.
Below is my thumb nail on the other hand, the one that died was a little longer than this nail.

Now if you're squeamish do not click the picture down below, it's quite gross and yes it doesn't look like my nails will be painted for a while. Nail polish is China Glaze - He's Going In Circles.

Illamasqua Body Electrics

Look what turned up on my door this afternoon! This is the goody bag from the Ilamasqua Body Electrics Blogger's event which sadly I couldn't make it and to top that off, it was completely cancelled due to train strikes. Fortunately the goodies were sent out to those that were
invited and it totally feels like a early birthday present since my 21st is on the 25th!

It came beautiful presented in a gorgeous black box, which is ideal to store your beauty products in.
With a touch of electrifying tinsel inside!
I received some booklets, postcard, huge poster, Illumine Oil in Volt and Nail Varnish in Force.
So thank you Alex C & everyone at Illamasqua!
*Click pics to enlarge*

Illumine Oil in Volt- A illuminating dry body oil in a weighty 100ml glass bottle and a little goes a long way, depending on the intensity you wish to achieve. They come in two colours and volt I think will look fabulous on all skin tones, but it's brilliant for us pale bunch that hate the fake tan but wish to contour and make the body glow. Would look amazing on legs and cleavage.
The colour has a very light violet iridescent to it and it smells gorgeous but not too heavy. Like floral notes with coconut, very pleasant indeed. If you don't like the idea of looking like a disco ball then this is for you, it's all about reflecting the light and not party glitter.

Pros
-Non sticky or greasy.
-Glides on and very easy to work with
-Comes with Vit E
-Illuminates your body in a level you can choose.
-Little goes a long way

Cons
-Expensive £32.00
-No SPF :(

Unblended
Blended

Nail Varnish in Force- I'm really impressed with the quality of the nail varnish since this is the first time I've tried any of the polishes. This one is extremely opaque and you only need one coat. Dries down quicker then most polishes and leaves a shiny finish, very easy to spread around the nail.
I did do a swatch but my nails look pretty awful at the moment, need to buff and file so next time I'll post it when I do a full mani of this shade.
The colour itself is a nice Powdery Royal Blue and does remind me of Barry M's Cobalt Blue, but this one is more creamier and muted.
Priced at £13.00.

Mermaid EOTD & NOTD

Shadows Used- Bloom Eskimo, Cover Girl Shimmering Onyx, GOSH Single 282, Barry M LE Marine.

BYS Nail Enamel in Mint Ice - This is about 3 coats and really sorry for the sloppy application, sometimes it's good other times it's just plain bad ha.
