Eyeko 5In1 Eyeshadow Cakes & NOTD

Eyeko shadow cakes, I checked out the site and at the moment they're only selling one on there which is the 'Pretty Eyes'.
I currently have 'Cool Eyes' and 'Pretty Eyes' which are £5.00 each.
Ok, so they look stunning in the palette they look so shimmery and some are glitzy, but overall I'm pretty much disappointed because they're not very pigmented at all. The good thing, well they're very blendable and they would be a nice kick to complement other shadows. Sorry Eyeko but you do get what you pay for on these ones.

Pretty Eyes- Creamy Gold, Frosty White, Lilac, Deep Pink, Shimmery Peach



Last but not least Miss Sporty Clubbing Colours Twinkle Shine in 1? They have the shades listed on the shelves but not on the products. This is one of those gorgeous pale lavender colours but with twinkly sparkles. :) Miss Sporty is available from both Superdrug and Boots.

NOTD: Eyeko Chi Chi Polish "For Girlie Nails"

I normally wouldn’t gravitate towards purchasing a nail polish like this on my own. I don’t care for super glittery nails and I like the look of cream finishes best. However, I actually liked how it looked on my nails! I had to apply about 4 coats (which is a little excessive) to get the opacity I wanted, but after the 4th coat it started to look pretty good. I had to wait a bit longer for this particular polish to dry because the first time I put it on and let it set the usual amount of time, a couple nails on my right hand smudged. As for removal, I found that it wasn't hard to remove at all. In fact, the polish came off in chunks (not what I wanted). After a day I lost the polish on two whole nails because it just peeled off. Very disappointing because I did like the end result, but don't like having to apply polish every single day.

Unfortunately my past two experiences with Eyeko polish have been disappointing, but I have liked many of their other polishes/formulas. A nice thing about Eyeko is that they have a great range of colours in really cute packaging for a reasonable price. You can visit their site here.

REVIEW: Eyeko Cream w/ Extra Glow

I’ve only used Eyeko Nail Polishes before and have yet to try any of their other products so I was excited to try their 3 in 1 cream for moisturizing, highlighting and eye cream. As soon as I opened the jar and swatched it on my skin I couldn’t even imagine using it as an eye cream of face cream. Though I had my doubts, I tried it on my eyes and face and definitely can’t see myself, or anyone, using this as a moisturizer. It made me feel like I was putting Benefit High Beam all over my face. This product has a 6 month expiration date for a large 28 ml/1 fl oz jar. If I use this soley as I highlighter I will not make much of a dent in the product before it expires. As a highlighter, it works well. I like to put this on the tops of my cheek bones to give my face an extra glow. In comparison to Benefits High Beam, I would definitely chose High Beam over Extra Glow. Extra Glow IS more apparent on your skin, more pink, and more chunky than High Beam. High Beam is much easier to blend in and is more subtle.

PRICE: £8.00

PACKAGING: I don't like dipping my fingers in a jar, it's not very sterile. I would prefer this in a squeeze tube.

The past few experiences I have had with Eyeko have been rather disappointing. First I had the problem with the two new nail polishes and now this cream. Have you tried this cream? What are your thoughts?
