MAKYAJ VE OJE

Sorry everyone for not posting lately. I've been sooo busy. I ordered my Halloween costume online and then they sent me the wrong one and apparently the one that is pictured (which they were selling) is not available and the manufacturer screwed up. Oh well. This means I get my money back, but now I gotta figure something else out! So I started sewing my own costume... did I mention that I DON'T SEW! haha But it turned out really good, besides the fact that I can't get it on now because the leaves I glued in place arn't allowing the fabric to stretch!

I should have just sewed the whole damn thing, but it was taking FOREVER so only the bottom few layers of leaves are actually sewn on. I will have to go back and secure some of the leaves by sewing later, but at least its close to done. I just need to cut it and put in a zipper or something to fix the problem. Hopefully that works and I don't ruin it because I love it so much! Is a zipper the best option? HELP!

P.S. - my dog gets in a lot of pictures because she's always curious as to what I'm doing. I tried laying my outfit on the ground and all she wanted to do was lay by and it and lick it. I told her no and that's why she looks all puppy dog eyed. haha

I also went to a Dragonette concert last night. They are a Toronto based band! It was really good and so was the opening band, Ruby Jean and the Thoughful Bees. My girls and I got a picture with the lead singer of Ruby Jean cuz we loved her performance! I also bought all their cds cuz they were so cheap. My friends introduced me to Dragonette. I only knew the song "I Get Around", but didn't know anything else. I'm really open to new music and fell in love with both bands! I love concerts! What concerts have you been to this year?
