I can't believe it is September 1st already! Where did the summer go? It honestly didn't even feel like summer where I live. Anyways, here are some products I've found myself reaching for frequently during the month of August.

Maybelline Lash Stiletto

During the summer I usually keep it light for foundation and eye shadows unless I'm going out to the club or dinner at night. My favourite eye combination this month was "Naked Lunch" on the lid, "Wedge" in the crease, and "Ricepaper" as a highlight. I then put a little bit of liquid liner, winged out and some mascara. At first I didn't like Maybelline's Lash Stiletto at all. However, I don't like wasting product so I started using it for work and began to love how natural it made my lashes look. It does a great job at separating and it isn't clumpy of flaky at all. Face and Body Foundation has been my HG for the summer months. It's water resistant so I'd put some on when going to the beach just to even out my skin colour and make my skin look fresh. On my lazy days I would throw Rubenesque Paint Pot all over my lid just for a wash of colour. If you've read my other posts you know that I'm in love with "Snob" lipstick at the moment. Its such a pretty colour and looks really good against my skin. Lastly, I use to ALWAYS use MAC "Golden" bronzer, but I borrowed my friends "Refined Golden" and like it a lot better. I like how "Refined Golden" is so easy to work with and you don't need a lot for it to show up. The colour is also SO gorgeous on my skin and in the pan. I found that "Golden" bronzer I would need much more of in order for it to show up on my skin. I guess "Golden" will be better for me in the winter months when I'm a bit lighter.
